What is an automatic watch?
An automatic watch is a mechanical timepiece that does not rely on a battery.
Instead, it is powered by motion.

Inside the watch is a small rotor that moves as you move your wrist, winding the mechanism as you go. If the watch has stopped, a simple manual wind—usually 10 to 15 turns of the crown—brings it back to life.

Once worn regularly, it stays powered through natural daily movement.
If left unworn for approximately 36 to 48 hours, it will wind down and simply need to be worn or wound again.

There is a quiet elegance in that simplicity—mechanical motion keeping time, without electronics, without interruption.
